As part of the Downtown Bolton Revitalization Plan, the Ye Olde Tyme Christmas event returns this year! The event will be held on Friday December 2nd from 6-9pm. There will be a giant interactive snow globe, free photos with Santa, carolers, food trucks and over 50 market vendors on Queen St in the downtown core.
Parking & Road closures to be aware of include:
- Queen St. N in Bolton will be closed to through traffic from King Street to Columbia Way from 3pm-10:30pm that day to prepare for the event
- Parking in the Ann and Stern municipal parking lot will be restricted during this time too as the space will be used for activations
Free Public Parking will be available at The Royal Courtyards, along Elm St & Chapel St, the Municipal Lot on Chapel St and the Parking Lot at Hickman St & Sackville St.
Downtown Bolton businesses, we encourage you to take advantage of the large crowds that will be in the downtown that evening by, for example:
- Keeping your business open until 9 p.m.
- Promoting your product in-store or outside
